PATRICK A. KInsley
Patrick Kinsley has served as President of I.B. Abel. since 2008. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1988, and is currently licensed in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Pat brings more than 30 years of diversified experience in the construction and design field to I.B. Abel. He began his career working as a laborer for the family’s construction business while in high school. Pat has served in a gamut of positions including equipment operator, truck driver, mechanic, foreman, superintendent, project manager, estimator, inspector, surveyor, engineer, vice president, and owner’s representative on a broad range of construction projects. He earned a degree in engineering from Villanova University.
Dennis L. Geiger, Jr.
Vice President Electrical Division
Dennis Geiger has been with I.B. Abel since 1990, and has served as Vice President of the Electrical Division since 2008. He holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, and has completed a five-year electrical apprenticeship program with I.B. Abel. Dennis has hands-on experience in the HVAC and electrical fields, in addition to a background in electrical estimating and project management.
James R. Trebilcock
Vice President of Communication Division
James Trebilcock has been with I.B. Abel since 1990, and has served as Vice President of the Communications Division since 2006. His experience is well-rounded having served in the positions of Estimator, Project Manager, and Division Manager. Jim completed the I.B. Abel five-year electrical apprenticeship program, various trainings through BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International), and earned his RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) Certification in 2000. He has a background in communication and electrical construction with experience working in the field since 1988.
Thomas A. Tacconelli
Vice President of Utility Services
Thomas Tacconelli is the Vice President of Utility Services for I.B. Abel and has been with the company since 2011. He previously served as Manager – Special Projects and Project Executive. Tom has experience dealing with government agencies, environmental permitting, safety, and community outreach for sensitive transmission line and live line maintenance projects in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New York Tom is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Acquisitions and Contracts Management at Strayer University and has attained certificates of completion from the National Labor College. He is an IBEW Journeyman Lineman with certificates of completion from the Federal Department of Labor, Pennsylvania Department of Labor, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Tom is also a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
Robert L. Zillweger
Vice President of Operational Support
Rob Zillweger currently serves as I.B. Abel’s Vice President of Operational Support. Robert has experience as an IBEW Journeyman Lineman with completion certificates from the Federal Department of Labor, Pennsylvania Department of Labor, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Robert has been with IB Abel since 2010, last serving as the Director of Safety & Quality. He is an active partner representing I.B. Abel in the statewide Keystone Utilities Partnership and also served as the point of contact to process funding for Statewide Crane Operator Training for eligible participants. Robert is a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
Jeffrey L. Zarfoss
CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey Zarfoss has been with I.B. Abel since 2009 as the Chief Financial Officer. Jeff spent his first 11 years performing audit and tax services at a regional public accounting firm, where he held the position of Senior Manager. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with more than 17 years of financial experience in the construction field. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s of Science and Business Administration in Accounting from Shippensburg University.
Deborah M. Gingrich
Director, Human Resouces
Deborah Gingrich joined I.B. Abel. in June 2015, and has risen to the challenge of building the human resources department, as well as administrative support services for the company. Deb attended Towson State University, and brings more than 30 years of HR experience to I.B. Abel. She has worked for prominent local and internationally owned companies throughout her career and has been recognized by her business peers, as well as community service partners.
